Courtney is a New York City based performer and artist. Originally from Northern Virginia, Courtney received her early training from a competitive dance studio with a strong focus in the Cecchetti Method of Ballet. Prior to moving to NYC, Courtney received her B.F.A in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and has also had the incredible honor of presenting work at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. Since beginning her professional career in New York, Courtney has worked with amazing choreographers such as Julie Carter, Christina Belinsky, Sam Lobel, Danielle Diniz,and Katie Drablos. She has also performed for incredible organizations and initiatives including Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS, ThinkTank, and LegUpOnLife. Fascinated and inspired by humanity, Courtney continues to explore the marriage of movement, music, and storytelling in order to enhance her connection to the art as well as to the audience.
